The story behind Chéri

Born from a love of interior, sustainability, and soft light - Chéri is more than decor, it's a feeling.

Founded in 2022, Chéri was born from a deep love for interior styling, creativity and the simple joy of lighting a candle at the end of the day. 

Tired of mass-produced, synthetic options, I wanted to create a brand that felt more in tune - with the planet, with our homes, and with ourselves. That's why every piece is handmade in my studio in the Netherlands, using only natural, eco-friendly materials like soy wax and jesmonite. 

At Chéri, sustainability isn't a trend - it's at the heart of everything. 
Each item is crafted with care, intention, and love - to bring balance, calm and positive energy into your space.

Whether it's a softly scented candle or a beautifully made tray, every Chéri piece is designed to feel good, look beautiful, and do no harm.

This is more than decor - it's a small ritual of comfort, connection and conscious living. 

 

Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Djenaba, the founder and maker behind Chéri - a small creative studio born from my love for candles, calm interiors and conscious living. 

As someone who's always been drawn to warm, peaceful spaces and handmade design, I started Chéri to create products that are not only beautiful, but kind to both people and the planet. 

Each piece is poured, shaped and finished by hand in my atelier in the Netherlands - with natural materials, mindful care, and a whole lot of heart.
