Safety & Care
Safety & Care
To ensure your safety and the optimal performance of your Chéri candles, please follow these burning instructions.
Burning instructions
- Always burn your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface with edges to catch melted wax.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable.
- Do not burn your candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
- Make sure the room is well ventilated during and after burning.
- To prevent possible heat damage on the candle holder or tray that you are using, you should always stop using the candle when there is only 6 mm of wax left.
First burn matters
- Let the wax pool fully reach the edges of the candle the first time you light it. This prevents tunneling and helps your candle burn evenly throughout its life.
Snuff - Don't Blow
- To extinguish the candle, use a snuffer if possible. Avoid blowing it out, as this can cause hot wax to splash or the wick to move off-center.
DISCLAIMER: Be aware that not following these instructions can lead to inaccurate burning time, heat damage, harm and fire hazards.
